CBFL has partnered with various non-profit organizations in the District of Columbia and fostered strong alliances with the DC Department of Transportation to support the Open Streets DC initiative led by Mayor Muriel Bowser. During multiple OPEN STREETS DC events, we graciously provided 300 servings of invigorating Italian ice to District residents at no cost. Furthermore, we enhanced the celebratory ambiance with our thrilling FOAM PARTY Experience presented by FOAMBOREE.

Recognizing Our Heroes: National Nurses Week Employee Appreciation
Amidst the 2020 COVID pandemic sweeping across the United States, nurses
stood tirelessly at the forefront, working endless shifts to care for patients.
Inspired by their compassion and dedication, CBFL’s management team
launched an appreciation program within its Flower Distribution Division,
dedicated to gifting fresh flowers to nurses in hospitals. Over the past six
years, the program has flourished, expanding partnerships and reaching
healthcare professionals across the region. CBFL has collaborated with
companies like Astound Broadband (formerly RCN) and Heart Warming
Treasures LLC to distribute over 5,000 fresh flowers to nurses during
Nurses Appreciation Week. These hospitals include Walter Reed National
Military Medical Center, Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in Washington, DC
and Hampton, VA, University of Maryland Medical Center, and Howard
University Medical Center.
